A Monday night accident on U.S. Route 287 at the intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 119 killed five cast members of the musical “Texas”.
A car driven by 20-year-old Clinton Diaz was leaving a cast party when he disregarded a stop sign and was hit by a southbound semi on U.S. 277. The semi hit the car broadside, killing Mr. Diaz as well as 21-year-old Eric Harrison, 20-year-old Andrew Duncan, 20-year-old Amanda Starz, and 24-year-old Julian Arredondo.
