A man was killed and another was injured in a collision with a train Friday on U.S. Route 90.

A semi was headed to a job site when the trailer became stuck on the tracks in China and three passengers were unable to get out in time. The Texas Department of Public Safety said two men got out and tried to free the trailers, but 22-year-old Joseph Grant of Kountze was killed and 42-year-old Jimmy Roberson of Livingston was seriously injured in the collision.

Andrew Cain, 19, of Beaumont was a third passenger and was not injured.
