Portland, Oregon — June 30, 2012
The Portland Police Department responded to a rollover accident that required a driver to be extracted on Saturday at 6 p.m. The accident happened in the 7500 block of Barbara Welch Road. No names were given in this accident.
Two passengers were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were deemed non-life threatening. A cause for this crash has not been determined. No other vehicles were believed to have been involved.
The National Motor Vehicle Crash Causation Study conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that driver error was the primary cause in 90 percent of major traffic crashes.
