<p>A resident of Dodd City, Texas was injured on Wednesday in a crash on Oklahoma State Route 78 approximately two mile north of Achille.</p>
<p>The <a href="www.ohptroopers.com/">Oklahoma Highway Patrol</a> stated that 44-year-old Kimberly Fleck was southbound at approximately 4:40 a.m. when she left the roadway. Her vehicle struck a tree and officials stated that unsafe speed was the likely cause.</p>
<p>Ms. Fleck was flown to<a href="themedicalcenterofplano.com/&#8206;"> Plano Medical Center</a> in critical condition. It is not known if any other vehicles were involved.</p>
<p>The National Motor Vehicle Crash Causation Study conducted by the<a href="http://www.nhtsa.gov/"> National Highway Traffic Safety Administration</a> found that driver error was the primary cause in 90 percent of major traffic crashes.</p>

<p>Thursday morning an motorcycle accident on Oklahoma State Route 97 near 41st Street followed a police chase.</p>
<p>A male motorcyclist was allegedly speeding and weaving in and out of traffic when officers with the <a href="http://sandspringsok.org/category.php?cat=1014">Sand Springs Police Department</a> attempted to pull him over. The motorcyclist ran two red lights before crashing near 41st Street.</p>
<p>The motorcycle rider suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized, but is expected to face multiple charges as a result of the chase.</p>
<p>According to the <a href="http://www.nhtsa.gov/">National Highway Traffic Safety Administration</a>, motorcycles are more likely to be involved in a fatal collision with a fixed object than are other vehicles. In 2008, 25 percent of the motorcycles involved in fatal crashes collided with fixed objects, compared to 19 percent for passenger cars, 14 percent for light trucks, and 4 percent for large trucks.</p>

<p>A motorcycle accident on Saturday near Lake Stanley Draper injured a member of the U.S. Navy in Oklahoma.</p>
<p>Daniel Crossley was riding his motorcycle on Lake Stanely Draper Drive when he was involved in a crash Saturday night. The <a href="www.okc.gov/okcpd/">Oklahoma City Police Department</a> stated that Mr. Crossley suffered multiple internal injuries and had five blood transfusions as a result.</p>
<p>Relatives of Mr. Crossley stated that he was in critical condition with multiple internal injuries.</p>
<p>According to the <a href="http://www.nhtsa.gov/">National Highway Traffic Safety Administration</a>, in 2008, 5,290 motorcyclists were killed&#8212;an increase of 2 percent over the 5,174 motorcyclists killed in 2007. There were 96,000 motorcyclists injured during 2008.</p>

<p>A head-on crash near Guthrie on Oklahoma State Route 105 was allegedly caused by a drunk driver on Wednesday according to state police.</p>
<p>The <a href="www.ohptroopers.com/">Oklahoma Highway Patrol</a> stated that 35-year-old John Withers was westbound in a pickup truck at 3:15 p.m. when he struck a semi head-on. The driver of the semi, 52-year-old Curtis Strickland of Covington, was taken to <a href="www.saintsok.com/&#8206;">St. Anthony Hospital</a> in Oklahoma City with arm and hand injuries.</p>
<p>Mr. Withers was in critical condition, but his son Wyatt, 5, was in good condition. Mr. Withers was arrested for driving while intoxicated.</p>

<p>Tito Aguilar, 32, was driving a Chevrolet Blazer when he struck a motorcycle ridden by Steven McBride, 62, at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday. The <a href="http://www.tulsapolice.org/">Tulsa Police Department</a> stated that the crash occurred on 11th Street at U.S. Route 169, and Mr. Aguilar fled the scene.</p>
<p>Mr. McBride was hospitalized in serious condition, while Mr. Aguilar was arrested a short distance away and was charged with leaving an accident and driving without a license.</p>

<p>An Oklahoma City crash at Southwest 15th Street and Morgan Road killed an 18-year-old woman according to police.</p>
<p>The accident occurred on Wednesday when the unidentified teen woman was leaving a private driveway and was hit by a pickup truck. The <a href="www.okc.gov/okcpd/">Oklahoma City Police Department</a> stated that the teenager was hospitalized, but succumbed to her injuries.</p>
<p>The driver of the pickup truck suffered only minor injuries.</p>

<p>High winds caused an inflatable obstacle course to flip over in Frederick on Tuesday, injuring seven children according to police.</p>
<p>The incident occurred at Frederick Elementary School at a celebration for the end of the school year according to the <a href="frederickpd.com/&#8206;">Frederick Police Department</a>. The wind caused the inflatable to land on top of a second inflatable, causing injuries to seven students.</p>
<p>A pair of students were treated for concussions and broken bones, while five more were treated and released from an area hospital.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.iaapa.org/about-iaapa">International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions</a> stated that there are an estimated 241 injuries per year on Kiddie Rides, which account for 10 per cent of amusement park accidents.</p>
