Trotwood, Ohio — May 18, 2011

The Trotwood Police Department reports that four people were inside a car when it rolled on Wolf Creek Pike Wednesday. The incident occurred sometime in the morning, and no fatalities are being reported at this time.

Officials say the car was traveling near Willowburn Avenue when the driver apparently lost control, causing the car to overturn and come to rest upside down close to some trees. It is believed that the car was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the wreck.

Those involved are expected to recover, and none of the injuries were described as critical. The victims were able to get themselves out of the wrecked vehicle, according to reports.

According to the National Motor Vehicle Crash Causation Study conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, driver error is responsible for more than 90 percent of serious traffic accidents.
