Monroe, Ohio — February 24, 2011

Two unidentified individuals sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a dump truck that happened on Thursday morning.

Police said that the incident occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Ohio 4, close to the Life Tabernacle Church. Police did not reveal much information about the cause of the accident, but report that a Cadillac and a dump truck collided in the northbound lane. An unidentified driver and passenger in the Cadillac were reportedly thrown from the vehicle during the crash.

The two individuals were taken to Atrium Medical Center and listed in stable condition. Police said that the driver of the dump truck was not injured in the incident.
