The intersection of Eubank Boulevard and Montgomery Boulevard on the northeast side was the site of an accident with injuries Saturday according to the Albuquerque Police Department. The crash happened at 11 a.m., and paramedics were on scene as well.

The severity of the injuries involved was not released. A description of the vehicles in this crash was not available, but multiple injuries were alleged. No names were released in conjunction with this accident.

According to the New Mexico Department of Public Safety, 46,441 crashes occurred in the state in 2008. The New Mexico Department of Public Safety reports that 19,430 people were injured in traffic accidents in 2008 and 366 people were killed.
