According to police, a Santa Fe woman is under suspicion of drunken driving after a crash along Agua Fria Street on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers with the Santa Fe Police Department say a green Oldsmobile Alero sedan driven by Bernice Martinez, 40, was headed eastbound along Agua Fria Street, near Calle Carmelita, around 2:55 p.m. Ms. Martinez allegedly struck a westbound blue van as the unidentified driver waited to execute a let-hand turn.

Paramedics transported Ms. Martinez to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries. She is under suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving without insurance, driving with a revoked license and driving without registration.

The male motorist behind the wheel of the van suffered undisclosed injuries and was treated on scene.
