According to police, a crash in the Spring Valley area of Las Vegas on Tuesday left one person hurt.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reports that the victim was traveling near West Russell Road and South Jones Boulevard, near the Boulder Junction neighborhood, around 5:35 a.m. A crash then occurred, leaving one person hurt.

The number of vehicles involved is not clear. Police have not named any of those involved.

According to the New Mexico Department of Public Safety, driver inattention played a part in 11.8 percent of traffic accidents in 2008.
