A man was injured after two vehicles collided on Interstate 70 Tuesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 10:45 a.m., 26-year-old Tonaireo Warren was traveling west on Interstate 70 when he failed to see a Ford Explorer driven by 64-year-old John Stillman ahead of him. The impact of the crash caused Mr. Stillman’s vehicle to hit a guardrail and roll over.

Mr. Callaway was taken to the University Hospital with minor injuries. Mr. Warren was not injured by the accident.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

According to the National Safety Council, more than 2.5 million rear-end collisions are reported every year, making them the most common type of automobile accident.
