Dunklin County, Missouri — April 12, 2012

A 14-year-old boy was the driver in a Thursday night crash that injured three, including one in critical condition.

Bradley J. Moore of Piggot, Arkansas was driving a 2007 Pontiac west on U.S. Route 62, two miles west of Campbell, when he ran the vehicle off the road and hit an embankment, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Bradley and 2-year-old passenger Aaimen Watson of St. Francis, Arkansas, reportedly suffered minor injuries in the 10:45 p.m. accident and were taken to Piggot Hospital.

Another passenger and St. Francis resident, 23-year-old Mandy L. Remme, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck and was airlifted to Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, Tennessee. She reportedly was in critical condition at the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that younger drivers were involved in 36,901 reported crashes in 2009.
