Two teenagers suffered minor injuries when the driver of their vehicle lost control and overturned Wednesday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 16-year-old Emma A. McDonald was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban down County Road 8100 about a mile west of Rolla when she lost control on a curve. The vehicle traveled off the side of the road and flipped, according to the report.
Passengers Emma L. Adams, 16, and Taylor R. Light, 15, suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident. They were transported to Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports younger drivers were involved in 36,901 reported crashes in 2009.
