Stoddard County, Missouri – July 21, 2011
A motorist’s failure to stop at a stop sent his vehicle into a ditch, injuring his passenger Thursday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, 47-year-old Dexter resident Stephen P. Tucker drove a 1994 Ford south on County Road 717. At a T intersection one mile south of Dexter Mr. Tucker did not stop at a designated stop sign and crashed into a ditch about 10:20 p.m.
Mr. Tucker was not injured. His passenger did suffer moderate injuries. Quincy B. Murphy, 49, of Dexter was transported to Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter for medical attention.
The exact location of this accident has not been released.
