Two men were hurt when their car crashed off road and hit a tree last Wednesday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Paola, Kansas, resident Chevy L. Wobker drove a 1984 Chevrolet south on County Road 259 south of Missouri Route D. About 11:50 p.m. the vehicle went off the right side of the road and crashed into a metal culvert. The vehicle then smashed into a tree.
Lucas J. Wobker, 31, of Paola, Kansas, and Mr. Wobker suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported to Research Medical Center for medical attention.
The exact lcoation of this accident has not been released.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration‘s National Motor Vehicle Crash Causation Study found that driver error was the primary cause of 90 percent of major traffic crashes.
