One motorist was injured in a collision that caused one car to roll onto its side Wednesday night.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Amanda L. Hopkins, 23, of Sedalia drove a 1996 Ford north on U.S Route 65. At Ball Road Dustin A. Hogan attempted to turn east from northbound U.S. Route 65 in a 1998 Ford. He crashed into Ms. Hopkins about 10:15 p.m. forcing her vehicle to roll onto its side.
Mr. Hogan suffered minor injuries.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration‘s National Motor Vehicle Crash Causation Study found that driver error was the primary cause of 90 percent of major traffic crashes.
