Henry County, Missouri – July 18, 2011

A man from Clinton was injured when he crashed his motorcycle into the back-end of another motorcycle Monday evening.

Rickie L. Greer, 50, rode a 2000 Harley-Davidson south on Missouri Route 7 south of Northwest 311 Road. About 5:20 p.m. Preston S. Stackhouse, 28, of Clinton slowed down on a 2004 Custom Chrome Chopper in front of Mr. Greer. Mr. Green hit the back of the Custom Chrome Chopper, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The Harley-Davidson flipped and went off the right side of the road

Mr. Greer was taken to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton for the treatment of moderate injuries.

The exact location of this accident has not been released.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, motorcycles were involved in 1,843 personal injury accidents in 2009. A total of 2,182 people were injured in those crashes.
