Grand Rapids, Michigan — July 19, 2010 — Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a two-car accident that has seriously injured two men.

According to authorities who responded to the accident (at the intersection of Fuller Avenue and Alexander Southeast), the driver of a Pontiac had been traveling north on Alexander when he struck a stop sign and careened into a silver SUV.

The force of the collision pushed both vehicles into the yard of a nearby residence causing damage to the house.

Both men involved in the accident were transported to local area hospitals for treatment.  At the time of this report, their status remains unknown.
