Oxford Township, Michigan — July 13, 2010 — Oakland County Deputies continue to look for clues in an accident that claimed the life of 84-year-old Roberta Jean Petty and injured two others.
According to authorities, Ms. Petty had been driving east on Lakeville Road during the mid-morning when her vehicle crossed the center lane and made contact with a westbound pick-up truck that was carrying two people.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 39-year-old Oxford man, was treated at the accident scene for minor injuries. The passenger, a 79-year-old man, was taken to Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital for treatment and evaluation. At the time of this report the man was reported to be in stable condition.
