Bridgman, Michigan – July 13, 2010 — A one-motorcycle accident has claimed the life 52-year-old Andrew Jackson, a businessman from the United Arab Emirates.

According to witnesses, Mr. Jackson was traveling west on I-94 when he lost control of his motorcycle on an exit ramp that led to Red Arrow Highway.

Witnesses to the accident stated that Mr. Jackson was leaning his bike to the right at a sharp angle immediately before he began to skid, hitting a guardrail.  It did not appear that Mr. Jackson was attempting to actually exit, but simply lost control of the bike at that location.

Mr. Jackson’s motorcycle was located approximately 100 yards down the ramp. Investigators confirmed that he had been wearing a helmet at the time; however, he suffered several unspecified injuries that proved too severe.

Mr. Jackson will be missed by colleagues at the company he owned, Environmental Systems International, LLC.  The company manufactured water recycling systems, secondary spill containment equipment as well as biodegradable cleaning products.
