Cadillac, Michigan - A 55-year-old Cadillac woman has died as a result of injuries she sustained in a May 5th collision with a semi-truck.

Authorities report that the woman had been traveling westbound on Division through the intersection of M-115 when she was struck by a southbound semi-truck.  The vehicle came to rest underneath the semi and the unidentified woman was trapped in the vehicle.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities who said that alcohol and speed were not believed to be a factor in the accident.
