Police say a sleepy driver triggered an accident Tuesday in the Uniontown area that hurt two people.

According to troopers with the Indiana State Police, 46-year-old Crothersville resident Dianna L. Cravens was behind the wheel of a red 1995 Ford Ranger pickup truck as it traveled along Indiana 250. As Ms. Cravens approached U.S. Route 31, around 7:20 p.m., she reportedly lost consciousness.

The pickup crashed, injuring Ms. Cravens and her 4-year-old passenger, Heven Brandenburg of Crothersville, sustained undisclosed injuries. Paramedics transported both to Schneck Medical Center for treatment.
