Clayton Knapp, 17, was partially ejected from his vehicle on Sunday when his car went off the right side of County Road 625 South and hit a telephone utility box. Clayton was listed in fair condition at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Clayton’s girlfriend was following him and said speed was likely a factor, as she was going 55 mph and could not keep up with him. The accident happened around 9 p.m. according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department.
