Fishers, Indiana — February 1, 2012
An unidentified woman was killed Wednesday afternoon when she attempted to cross Interstate 69 near Fishers and was struck by a semi. The Fishers Police Department was on the scene to conduct the investigation.
Witnesses to the accident say that the woman ran onto the interstate near mile marker nine and was struck by a semi, knocking her into the ditch. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
