Muncie, Indiana – December 31, 2011
Amanda Howard, 25, complained of lower back, head, and neck injuries after being involved in an accident with Justin Hall, 24, in an accident at the intersection of Willard Street and Madison Street on Saturday.
The Muncie Police Department is investigating the accident where both drivers state they had the green light to proceed through the intersection. Mr. Hall’s 2003 Ford Truck struck Ms. Howard’s 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche on the passenger side.
Ms. Howard was taken to Ball Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
According to the National Motor Vehicle Crash Causation Study conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, driver error is responsible for more than 90 percent of serious traffic accidents.
