Novato, California — February 19, 2012
A young boy was injured Sunday when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Novato.
According to the Novato Police Department, a 5-year-old boy from Novato was walking across the street at 3 Hutchins Way when he was struck by a dark-colored minivan. The black male and his black female passenger in the van fled the scene of the accident.
The young pedestrian was transported to Marin General Hospital for medical attention to minor injuries.
