Paramount, California — February 7, 2011

Police say two people from Bellflower were killed in a rollover crash along California State Route 91, between Parmaount and Lakewood early Monday morning.

The California Highway Patrol reports that 44-year-old Ian Wulf was traveling east on California State Route 91 in a 2001 Honda Passport sport-utility vehicle around 3 a.m. when he lost control near Exit 13 (Cherry Avenue). The SUV veered onto the south shoulder and flipped, rolling several times down a slope.

Paramedics pronounced Mr. Wulf and his passenger 34-year-old Mua Pasesa, dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

    Mua Pasesa is a cousin of mine, just last year she visited the territory of American Samoa to attend her father’s funeral (Leusu Afa Pasesa). Ms. Mua is a very well loved person by her family and friends, she could make a friend out of a stranger. When the news reached our family, it was hard to believe and it sure captured us all in a shock. Our beloved sister, cousin, aunty and niece will be niece. We may have lost one of the shining stars within our family but her legacy will continue to live within our hearts.

    Auntie Mua was the best, she wasn’t blood, but she and my Mom Maria were best friends making her part of the family. They were so close they considered each other as sisters. Everyone that knew her could not help but to fall in love with her. Her prestigious ways will always stay at the apex of everything. She was an amazing woman and always defended anyone in her surroundings. I love her so much and I will always always keep her close to my heart. Me along with my family.

    this is too sad:( just curious? were these two married? why were they together @ 3 in the morning? His mother in law was buried the same day, could it be possible that this happened in such a bizarre way? ONLY GOD KNOWS..condolences to the family of both deceased individuals.

    so much to say. let me start off by saying that once again, has GOD snatched up the most caring,loving, and nicest people ever. i played darts with ian, and had see him around oC/laughlin for years.. and was always a great,respectfull,fun guy to be around.. just recently went to a dart tournament about 2-3 wks ago and seen them both, that night i met mua, we were dart partners..(took 1st place) she was also polite and down to earth, funny, and like playing darts. such a tragic night. REST IN PARADISE IAN, ALWAYS REMEMBERD.
