Westminster, California — December 23, 2010
Police say 57-year-old Westminster resident Elvira Bermudez died Thursday in a collision with a pickup truck.
The Westminster Police Department reports that Ms. Bermudez was traveling north on Goldenwest Street in her Saturn around 10 p.m. Meanwhile, a GMC pickup truck traveling south on Goldenwest attempted to turn left onto Georgetown Avenue and struck her.
Ms. Bermudez reportedly died on impact. The pickup driver and his passenger escaped without injury.
Investigators do not believe alcohol and drugs were a factor in the crash. Anyone with information related to the crash is asked to call (714) 548-3830.
