Corona, California — December 12, 2010
Police say Kevin Gammoh, 21, of Garden Grove, died Sunday evening in a rollover crash on Interstate 15 in Corona.
The California Highway Patrol reports that Mr. Gammoh was traveling north on I-15, south of Weirick Road, in a 1998 Toyota 4-Runner sport-utility vehicle around 9:30 p.m. Investigators say another driver veered into Mr. Gammoh’s lane, cutting him off and causing him to firmly apply his brakes and steer to the right.
Mr. Gammoh subsequently lost control of the vehicle and overturned, striking a guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity later released by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
The second driver reportedly fled the scene.
