Officials say six people were injured Thursday, two of them critically, when a BMW collided with a pickup truck on Normandie Avenue between Carson and Harbor Gateway.
The Los Angeles Fire Department reports that three people were traveling in each vehicle when the crash occurred shortly after 9 p.m. near 21701 S. Normandie Ave. Two male occupants were ejected from one vehicle and another victim was pinned in the wreckage.
Three victims sustained only minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department traffic division.
