Paramount, California — September 27, 2010
Police say 39-year-old Edwin Sunmin Lee of Hacienda Heights died early Monday morning when a two-vehicle crash along the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway near Paramount trapped him inside his car.
Firefighters arrived around 2:30 a.m. to find Mr. Lee trapped in the vehicle on the Garfield Avenue on-ramp. They spent roughly 30 minutes trying to free the victim from the wreckage, by which time he had died. His name is being withheld pending family notification.
It remains unknown whether three other subjects, reportedly involved in the accident, were injured.
